Firstly, I just want to say what an amazing person you have grown into. You have become so wise, so at peace and so inspirational. I am in awe. I would love to know how you became so enlightened. Did your way of approaching life change from reading certain books? It is something I would really love to achieve so I would be ever so appreciative to be put in the right direction x Ps. Could you recommend any good vegan cafe's in Brisbane or Melbourne?

aw, nice thing to wake up too :)
thank you!
i did a lot of reading when my ex boyfriend and i broke up. not books as such, more articles and studies on the power of the mind, ways of healing through buddhism teachings etc. i read a bit of charles bukowski and henry rollins and quite a lot on frida kahlo. i think it was mainly just being able to accept everything that came my way for good and for bad. once i was able to accept what i couldn’t change it made my life a lot easier and i began focusing on the things i could change within my self and how i treat people.
i can give you some  great articles if you come off anonymous.

Please know there are much better things in life than being lonely or liked or bitter or mean or self-conscious. We are all full of shit. Go love someone just because; I know your heart may be badly bruised, or even the victim of numerous knifings, but it will always heal, even if you don’t want it to; it keeps going. There are the most fantastic, beautiful things and people out there, I promise. It is up to you to find them.
